Breastfeeding support

Once your baby is born we offer flexible at-home breastfeeding support for the first eight weeks after birth.

After an initial consultation we will be contactable via phone and email as well as in person to support you.

If you aren’t living within our catchment area we can also offer uk and international sessions via skype.

We offer:

  • An initial consultation at a location convenient to you, either your home or The Retreat.

  • Time and space to explore and promote an optimal feeding relationship.

  • We can  explore and address any issues you may be experiencing with a holistic and evidence based mindset.

    • This may include: engorgement, sore nipples, difficulty latching the baby to the breast, poor weight gain, low milk supply.

  • Support around transitioning to parenthood or an expanding family.

  • This includes practical and emotional support.

What people say:

“Nina helped us a lot during the first two weeks, both psychologically and technically, in a moment when it is easy to feel alone and overwhelmed. She is very knowledgeable and kind, I really recommend her.” -Francesca.

This session will leave you with:

  • A document containing a detailed breakdown of our meeting and a clear plan.

  • An email containing resources and signposts to further information.

  • Confidence in the amazing ability of your body and baby to learn and grow together on your breastfeeding journey.

  • Support via phone and email as well as the opportunity to book follow-up visits as needed.
